27/7/20: Vaux Trophy Meeting.
We have decided to make ‘The Vaux’ a postal shoot this year. Entry forms will be emailed to the usual suspects shortly. There will be a benchrest competition as well. If you want a form, please request one from the Association Secretary using the ‘Contact’ link above.27/7/20: We are still discussing the possibilities and ramifications for our winter leagues. We will probably be running them but details have still to be worked out. Clubs will be informed when we have reached a decision.21/5/20: At the recent (video) AGM, David Erskine of Cumberland News was elected as our new Chairman to replace the late George Lawson.
About us
We run postal target shooting leagues in both the Winter and Summer seasons that are entered by clubs and individuals from all over the UK.We also run an annual outdoor prone Open Meeting (“The Vaux”) in July.We are affiliated to the National Small-bore Rifle Association as a Category C County Association and are controlled by a Council of elected Officials and Club Representatives which meets around four times a year.Teams are entered in the NSRA’s winter County Leagues in the Prone Rifle, 10m Air Pistol and Lightweight Sport Rifle competitions.

Teams and Individuals from all clubs are most welcome to join our Leagues.
